Cocktails went down well but the weather was perishing 

and coffee was more the order of the day

8th : Start of the wedding season. 150 guests lubricated throughout the afternoon

25th PS : Helping Poppy celebrate her sons first birthday.

23rd MSC : First time at MSC cruise terminal Southampton, serving our favourite summer Cocktails galore at an industry event.  

11th DS : Cheeky appearance at a stag do followed - what goes on tour .....

4th : Wild Poppy made a guest appearance again at the Chilli and Gin festival again. All went to plan and the weather held up 

Wild Poppy has had some TLC. She's now ready to rock and roll. 

Out and about helping some old friends celebrate and then onto cocktails galore for MSC cruises.

Well, if rain wasn't bad enough we had forecast 50mph winds in store.

We survived ,and the international guests enjoyed a variety of cocktails

and local spirits with Conker  and Mermaid Gin the stars.

300 people on aa very hot weekend throwing themselves

around some volleyball courts. When the sun went down the energy levels went up and Wild Poppy was  in the thick of it.

What we love is there willingness to try out new cocktails and with them all working hard through the year, enjoying every moment of their  afternoon .

Absolutely fantastic!

Laura and the Wild Poppy Bar team completely beat my expectations at our event. Communication before the event was efficient and timing - they really came into their own on the day though. The bar looked amazing and the team were so attentive to our guests. Nothing was too much trouble - they were absolutely amazing.

300 guests at Winterbourne Earls  Primary for their  celebrations. 

The weather held out and fun was had by all

Evening at a top Yurt tent site outside Chichester shaking some cocktails for some private clients. Their strength in adversity as the heavens opened was admirable and despite we all had a fun evening.

Seaworks 22  was the venue for our first outing with Wild Ivy . 

Perfectly pint size and able to fit in the corner of MIT group stand. 

We welcomed international clients  over the afternoon with some refreshing cocktails in an otherwise hot tent

We booked Wild Poppy for a corporate event, and they were amazing. They worked around access restrictions, helped us create 'nautical-themed cocktails, and supported our last-minute requests for non-alcoholic drinks. On the day they were amazing, friendly, professional and fun. 

Will definitely be using them again!

Strong local community with some amazing support for the event.

With Jubilee celebrations in full swing we headed on up to 

Fleet market for a day of celebrations. 

Vibe was great and the our customers loved Wild Poppy. 

Torrential downpour when packing away was not welcome !

"Wild Poppy" bar - incredible! 

Laura and Poppy were fabulous from the outset helping us choose the right package for our event.  Nothing was too much trouble.   The bar itself looks fabulous and lit up beautifully as dusk came.  They fitted in seamlessly to our party and their gin cocktails are a treat!  Will definitely be using them again.

Summer '21

You've been a blast!

 From the depths of lock down to a full calendar  throughout July and August, 

Wild Poppy has unleashed her spell and charmed 1000's. 

We've seen so much of the beauty of England from Isle of Purbeck, Weymouth, Epsom, South Oxfordshire and idyllic villages of Braishfield and  East Hagbourne, and served 1000's of delicious cocktails and Gin Magic.

29th August 2021

We had Wild Poppy bar at a belated 21st birthday celebration. 

Laura met with us prior to the event and was tremendously helpful with her ideas regarding the varied drinks menu. She gave us excellent advice on how much to purchase and where to source the drinks.
Wild Poppy was swiftly set up in the garden a few hours prior to the event. It looked fabulous and became a real focal point for the evening. 

Laura & Poppy were incredibly friendly and we've since received rave reviews from guests about how fantastic the bar was.
Thank you both so much for a wonderful night!

Laura talked with me about what I wanted so that it was bespoke to me, 

this included 3 varieties of gin shimmer cocktails!

The horse box looked amazing on the night and along with Laura’s personality and hard work it quickly became the hub of the party.

Great Gatsby themed 21st in the pouring rain. 36 hours of relentless rain didn't stop us. Strategically placed umbrellas and Wild Poppy was dry and 

ready to welcome 100 guests to Georgia's 21st. 

Wild Poppy themed the drinks according to the Great Gatsby era, serving:

Gin, Elderflower Cordial, Soda, Ice, Mint & Cucumber

13th September 2019 

What an eventful start with our first wedding. Wild Poppy was lucky with the weather and the Steam Punk theme made for some fabulous outfits. Wild Poppy fitted right in. 150 glasses of champagne poured and several people converted to Gin. Wicked Wolf was a hit with many of the guests coming from the West Country 

20th July 2019  

What a great day. Weather was perfect for Gin drinking and watching the cricket. 

80+ deserving volunteers paid us a visit to sample our finest gins. Tanquerey Seville Orange went down really well; refreshingly zesty and perfect for the occasion.  Wild Poppy was pleased to welcome some  Gin Virgins and even happier to convert them. 

Wild Poppy's mission continues :)

Looking forward to our next adventure at Trojans Club to serve some gorgeous gin concoctions to some deserving volunteers whilst appreciating some cricket. Fingers crossed for the weather

Now for a Wild Poppy's first adventure.  Where better than an Arabian Stallion Stud Farm, Georgian Arabians.  Invited down to help with a charity fundraiser for Lasting Life, The Simon MacCorkindale Legacy,  we pitched up to supply the refreshments for the 125 invited guests.  The beautiful horses seemed Wild to see us although our flag was a casualty as it spooked the horses - first lesson learnt :) 

16th June 2019

The morning after the night before .....  How luck was Wild Poppy.  The weather held up  and our guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and our delicious gins.  A few hours passed and Wild poppy's launch was deemed a HIT

The day is here. The weather is holding up, the fridge is stocked, the garnishes watered, ice freezing and the glasses chilling. All we need now are guests

5 days to go til the launch party. A few things to do!!! Screwdriver in hand, sander on standby, off we go.

23rd May 2019 - 

Count down begins  - 23 days til our first event 8 days til our trial afternoon ...  Bartops have arrived back and our amazing carpenter has breathed life back in to some well trodden scaffold boards. First wax and the boards are singing. Love it love it love it ....

16th May - 

more painting and having fun with the painting our splashback.  Best to not stand too close to us today as we have the midas touch!  In the meantime we have given her some sparkle with some brilliant copper paint and touched up her frame  with hammerite black paint which has a gorgeous copper fleck in it. Who'd have thought paint would be sexy!! 

Returned with a reclaimed wood side bar built we turned our attention to the rest of the inside. The rubber matting was unbelievably heavy so that was taken out and revealing her stunning wooden floor in great condition. Love it love it love it ....  So lucky that Wild Poppy Floor is in top condition and  all she needs is  a light sand a  sealing

May 19  - 

Well the weather hasn't been great and its been too cold - polar opposite to last year!   We have  sent off the  reclaimed scaffold board to be transformed in to a bespoke  bar top. Due to be delivered back to Wild Poppy on the 23rd - can't wait. 

Apr '19 - 

the build begins. A sunny afternoon in Fair Oak and we strip Wild Poppy, give her a clean and a touch up and plan our  brilliant space 

Mar ' 19 - 

Wild Poppy mark I failed to make it home so sadly we had give her a new home, let her put her wheels up and her tail down in a field in Wiltshire. 

Our search began again. Didn't take us long to find Wild Poppy Mark II.We are converting Wild Poppy from a shabby, three legged horse trailer in to a bespoke, pop-up bar, serving the fun fuel of your choice, wherever you are. 

Jan '19 

Nothing beats the January blues quite like a spontaneous horse box purchase! The Wild Poppy adventure began on January 23rd 2019, with a 12 hour round trip to collect our new baby. One missing wheel later and the road to discovering her true purpose is well under way. 

Just keeps on rolling, rolling, rolling .......
